Gonzales, LA Studio Photographer - 2022 Christmas Sessions

This was my first Christmas special since 2017!!! Wow, Isn't that something?  My last special in the studio was for Mother's Day in 2018 and then I started my long pause from photography in September of 2018.  That's unbelievable when I think about it.  I will tell you one thing.....it's like I hadn't missed a beat in my mind, however, my body said "lady, you aren't a spring chicken anymore!"  I did over 20 sessions this year on 2 different Saturdays and added on a few here and there during the week.  I think that was the perfect amount for me getting back into the swing of things.  I also had to be a little extra this year with 2 scenes, but I just loved them both, so I'm glad that I went that route.  

I saw some of my longtime favorite clients who have grown a lot in the last few years and even got to meet some new friends, for which I'm grateful.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas spent with those that mean the most to you making new memories and thinking about all the sweetest memories of the loved ones that you were missing.  

As this year is coming to a close, I want to thank everyone for all the years you've trusted me to capture your families and make memories with all of you.........especially this year after my extended break from photography.  I have felt right where I belong doing something that I love and am extremely passionate about.

Fun Fact - I did NOT get a picture of my own kiddos or family on either Christmas drop this year.  It's harder and harder to get my crew all in the same place at the same time.  I did take a quick pic of them on Christmas morning.  I'll share it later.
